Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers FPage-poster, a private software tool used by the operator of
the Weird Christmas Facebook Page to publish posts to that Page.

What this tool is

FPage-poster is a personal, single-purpose application. It is not a product, not a service
offered to the public, and has no users other than the operator of the Weird Christmas Page.
It runs on the operator’s own hardware and publishes vintage postcard images to the Weird
Christmas Facebook Page on a schedule.

There is no sign-up, no account system, and no way for anyone else to use it.

What information it accesses

The tool uses the Facebook Graph API with the following permissions, all scoped to the Weird
Christmas Page only:

• pages_show_list — to identify the Page it publishes to
• pages_manage_posts — to create posts on the Page
• pages_read_engagement — to read the Page’s own post metadata
• pages_read_user_content — to read aggregate engagement totals on the Page’s own posts

What information it stores

All storage is local to the operator’s own device. Specifically:

• A Facebook Page access token, stored in a restricted-permission file, used solely to
  authenticate requests to the Page.
• Post identifiers returned by Facebook when a post is created, used to match a post back
  to the image it contains.
• Aggregate engagement counts — the total number of reactions, comments and shares on the
  Page’s own posts, stored as numbers only.

What information it does NOT collect

The tool does not collect, store, request, or process:

• Names, usernames, profile photos, or profile information of any person
• The identity of anyone who reacts to, comments on, shares, or views a post
• Email addresses, phone numbers, or contact information
• Messages, private conversations, or direct messages
• Location data
• Browsing activity or tracking data of any kind

Engagement is recorded only as totals — for example, “this post has 12 reactions.” The tool
has no record of who those people are, and does not request the permissions that would let
it find out.

Sharing

No information is shared with, sold to, transferred to, or disclosed to any third party.
There is no advertising, no analytics service, no tracking pixel, and no data broker
relationship. The data never leaves the operator’s own device except as API requests to
Facebook itself.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored post identifiers and engagement totals are kept for as long as the Page
operator finds them useful, and can be deleted at any time by the operator.

To request deletion of data associated with this app, or to revoke its access entirely:

1. Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations
   (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools), find FPage-poster, and choose Remove.
   This immediately and permanently revokes the app’s access token.
2. Or contact the operator using the address below, and any locally stored identifiers and
   engagement totals associated with the app will be deleted.

Because the app stores no personal information about any individual, there is no personal
data held about Page visitors to delete.

Children

This tool is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including
children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated
date at the top.
